Technical intelligence for people who build.
SoBasically was founded by Abhishek Gawade to cut through speculative hype, marketing noise, and content churn. We deliver calm, verified briefs anchored strictly in primary documentation.
Why We Built SoBasically
Software engineering and artificial intelligence move quickly, but modern coverage often obscures what actually happened. Technical announcements are frequently buried beneath marketing spin, recycled press releases, and speculative social commentary.
SoBasically is built to give engineers, founders, and technical decision-makers the signal they need without the noise. We focus strictly on verifiable developments: major model and framework releases, benchmark methodologies, architectural shifts, security advisories, and infrastructure constraints.
Every brief answers two essential questions: What happened, and Why it matters to teams building and deploying software.
Our Editorial Standards
We operate under a strict, evidence-first editorial standard:
1. Primary Source Anchoring
Every material claim must be verified against primary records—engineering blogs, research papers, repository releases, or official filings—before publication.
2. Fact vs. Analysis Separation
We keep objective events cleanly separated from analytical interpretation, so readers always know what happened versus what it means.
3. Concise Decision Briefs
We respect your time. Briefs are written to provide actionable context in minutes, with direct links back to original sources for deeper reading.
4. Editorial Independence
Our story selection is guided solely by technical consequence and utility to builders, completely free of sponsored content or paid placement.
